Anything bio based is really intriguing to me as a material for construction automation, this is a core tennant of the Neri Oxman philosophy. Oak ridge is doing some research in this subject but I don’t think Neri would approve because of all the plastic they use. PLA is not sufficiently natural for the type of bio architecture.
