It’s the weekend but the construction automation news keeps rolling in.
Here is a Swedish parkour competition using 3D printed concrete parts by Byggautomation
Apple is using 3D printed textiles to create their headset strap in one continuously knit piece. I am no textile expert but these knots are either novel or never before produced at equivalent scale. Perhaps their creation was assisted by AI.
There's a lot of cool tech in Vision Pro, but if you know anything about sewing, you'll know why the headstrap and cover are insane. As far as I can tell, this isn't multiple pieces of fabric cut out and sewn together... it's one continuous structure.
