Here is an excellent paper which takes a critical analysis of 137 3DCP projects. It is free to access until August 5th, so download it now hot off the press. Shoutout to Alireza Hasani for the 2 years of work he put into compiling all this information into one great paper! Not only that but after all that time he did not let his analytical luster wear off. You can see right in the conclusion of the paper, Alireza has no grand illusions on cost.

Torobo is almost ready to put on a hard hat! Here are 2 demo videos of a new humanoid robot system called Torobo doing some basic construction labor. Hammering, sawing, it’s easy to see how these systems will become incredibly helpful as they improve.

Lastly I will leave you with this. Want a dose of reality for how challenging it can be to print concrete on site? Take a look at the video below from a Cobod customer sharing the issues he faces with weather conditions and materials. That isn’t even the printers fault! Basically all concrete printing teams deal with the same challenges, often unmitigated.
