Vertico is a concrete printing company I visited in Eindhoven back in 2021. They have incredible parametric design skills and also focus highly on the details of their indoor prints. This combination leads to some of the most beautiful deigns I’ve seen. The CEO Volker was one of the first podcast guests and the most recurring, we also did one episode in the Netherlands a 3rd virtually after that. Vertico has never been one of the companies making absurd cost claims. They have focused on the readily achievable benefits of the tech, mostly being design oriented.

They aren’t the biggest fan of using concrete printers for housing but I actually think this makes them one of the best candidates to design a wildly intricate 3D printed home. It would be EXPENSIVE. For now they focus on smaller parts like the giant column the instagram video from my channel below. Shoutout to Victoria from the Vertico team for fielding my requests back and forth 4 times to get the perfect video!

No this is not a sponsorship deal, just a slow news day. It’s always nice to drive attention towards teams who share honest information in a world where wild claims and clickbait headlines hog so much space. I would post footage from any cool 3DCP projects just send it to me (I can be kind of particular though we are shooting for millions of views here)!

Automate Construction is getting millions on every platform lately, do you know why? Perhaps I hit just the right camera angle but more likely it’s just the motion of the ocean! Here is a look at google search trends, one of the biggest determinants in the overall traffic 3D printed construction content will see on the internet at any given time.

This means it’s a great time to post stuff. As you can see in the 12 month chart the current period is the 2nd highest data point of “3d printed house” search volume in the past 12 months. I am giving away secret sauce here do with it as you will! Thanks for reading the newsletter you are awesome.
