Amazon enters 3DCP

I’ve seen increasing numbers of people asking me if the 3DCP industry is slowing down. It’s true VC investment is down 3x from money printing highs of 2021 and interest rates are squeezing everyone but 3DCP has been growing strong through the adversity!

Just in the past few months we have seen both Walmart and Amazon enter the 3DCP space with many more fortune 50 companies certainly soon to follow.

I see now slowdown in progress, there are more people involved and things are advancing faster than every with more active groups than I’ve been aware of at any time prior.

Here is a great paper on shrinking and cracking deformations common in 3DCP by Dr. Slava Martin. There is not fluff, it’s all concrete! Many research papers are loaded with bs claims but this one just gets straight to the point with no sugar coating for maximum utility! Sadly only 5% of the research papers I read are like this but I believe 3DCP is seeing a resurgence in REAL science like the work done in this paper.

Regulations often do more harm than good. Shipping fuel regulations have lowered cloud albedo causing 80% of recent temp increases and natural disasters. We all want to keep the planet nice, I don’t think that’s a political opinion. We must think twice before regulating things we don’t understand.
